On 21.09.2014, a one day Seminar was conducted by Oriental Public School in association of Global Environment Research Foundation the parent body of Oriental Public School, Kalyani. The subject of programme was 'TEACHER-LEADERSHIP' to imbibe in the next generation teachers a real sense of fellow-feeling, social commitment, love and respect for students he/she teaches and also sharing responsibility and pay back that they owe to the society. Prof. Monirul Islam , Prof Krishna Gopal Roy and Prof. J.N. Putatunda spoke on the occasion. The welcome address was given by Dr. Sukumar Kar , Chairman of Orient Public School, Kalyani who emphasized on the need for more such seminar in future so that good things can be spread amongst more and more number of Teachers community and up hold the Quality of Educational Environment in the Oriental Public School . Mr. Pabitra Banerjee, Sr. Executive ( HR&A) on behalf of the organizing authority, expressed that series of such type of seminar shall soon be organized and seek whole-hearted support and co-operation from all concerned. The Seminar ended with happy notes of Mr. Aloke Mukherjee Vice-Pincipal ,Oriental Public School .
