The purpose of the school is not only to impact instruction but also to develop the total personality of the child by training his/her intellectual, moral, emotional ,physical and aesthetic values and analytical sense development to make him /her human and to recognize the persons of wisdom.

The school accepts each student as a sacred trust from God and considers it, its specific duty ,to give him /her education ,that is, the development of person from within. The school therefore begins from the principle that its educational programme is intentionally directed to the growth of the whole person.

The formal task of the school therefore is to draw out the ethical dimension to help the students to achieve moral freedom. Behind this moral freedom, stand those absolute values which alone give meaning and value to human life.

  • Principal's Address

Dear Parents a warm welcome to you all, welcome to Oriental Public School, where students, staff and parents work together to achieve our two goals -a safe, caring environment and academic success for every child. Today in this competitive world we all want our children to have an all-round development and become 'Master of All Trades'. To acquire this, we try and give our child best possible education, but is it the right education?

When the child starts his schooling in Nursery we expect the child to read and write alphabets as early as possible, is it justifiable to expect this from the child? While you know for a fact the child is not even able to hold a pencil properly or turn the page of a book we force the child to write by holding his hand or holding the book whose weight also he may not be able to carry. We also pressurize the child to complete the homework given by the teachers. When he is not able to do so the parents just fill up the worksheets to complete the task, have we ever thought what message the child is deriving out of this action?

We appeal to the parents never to compare your child with other children, on the contrary to try and appreciate his unique capabilities and qualities.

  • Our Aim

The main aim of the school is to give "The total development in your ward". So, the School ensures to provide an all-round education, spiritual, moral, academic, physical, social and cultural background to make its students intelligent and useful citizens. The formal task of the school is, therefore, to draw out the ethical dimension to help the students to achieve moral freedom. Behind this moral freedom, stand those absolute values which alone give meaning and value to human life. Our aim is not just to let learners obtain basic knowledge but to make them life-long learners. It is to nurture future citizens who are mentally and physically robust, assertive, confident, empathetic and helpful to the community, intellectually inquisitive and reflective, tolerant and with creative vision and global perspective.

  • Our Vission

The Vision of the school is to ignite the young minds, to build a responsible younger generation with a healthy body and a well-trained mind with good habits and accomplishments conductive to a full, purposeful and noble life to blossom into an integrated personality.

  • Our Mission

The Mission of this school is to empower all its students to be punctual, humble problem solvers, users of modern technology, effective communicators and lifelong learners in a rapidly changing global community by providing challenging experiences in a safe, caring, supportive and co-operative environment and prepare them to be successful and happy in this highly competitive and challenging future global scenario.

At the same time, we also expect the parents to refrain from pushing their children into the rat-race of success without acknowledging their ability and interest. At times, parents become over-caring, over-protective and pass down their unfulfilled dream towards their next generation. If we indeed wish our next generation to become the leaders of tomorrow, we should bear in mind the following as commandments:

    >> Support them to be happy, always.

    >> Appreciate and encourage them to take up responsibilities.

    >> Adore being successful.

    >> Develop in them the abilities related to thinking skills and problem solving.
